Aubron's site is fine for me, up to #316
but I just noticed an off-by-one error
that that is 316 on Aubron's site is that that is 315 on explainxkcd. Anyone know why this happened?

but I just noticed an off-by-one error
that that is 316 on Aubron's site is that that is (URL redacted since this account is new) on explainxkcd. Anyone know why this happened?
Are you sure? Aubron's site has always had the .... feature of "duplicating" the final frame if you move forwards in time, but not when you move backwards. So as I type this, I see two identical frames 317 and 318 (but 318 does not yet exist).

Hmm. On closer inspection it does appear to be off by one, and it appears to be that aubron's app has somehow inserted a blank frame 290. How strange.

Aubron's has an empty frame at #290. I think maybe he was expecting it to revert to half-hourly, and so a number got added there, but no pic. That's just my best guess why that is, but certainly the absent frame explains the disparity.

Not significantly. There is some variation, but that is probably just due to them being hand-drawn stick figures.

Possibly.
She has reason for concern. At the beginning of Time, the sea level was at about 16 vertical pixels below the base of the castle(-to-be). Converted to post-zoom pixels, that's about 9. Currently, it's 5.
If this continues at the same pace, then in about 400 newpix (16 days and 16 hours on the Outside, if the Outside doesn't speed up again), the water will reach the base of the castle.

As volunteer for the position as Apostolic Visitator I cultivate an opposing opinion.
This looks pretty much like "checking the water" + "checking the castle" := Uh-oh.

Dialogue, I guess, will take place next newpix.

River? That can't be the water we're looking at, right? Megan wouldn't have had to ask about that – plus it most certainly rose.
This week? Does he mean the Outside past week (i.e. since the beginning of Time), or comic week (i.e. before the beginning of Time – they can't have been there for more than a day).

I don't think that that water is the river because Megan asked where it is.

I'd say - quite the contrary. Megan's suspicious, because she recognized the shrinking gap between Castle Prime and the water. So she asks Cueball, who seems to rely on other sources: His information covers at least an Outside week.

So, what's the deal? A river carrying snowmelt (e.g. from a glacier)? Or a river coming from an area with some seasonal weather effect (e.g. rainfall periods in Thailand)?
