Possible. I don't think it's likely at this late stage though

your use of the word "late"? How do you know it hasn't just begun?

I don't, but I know if I was introducing a new character into something it would be more noticeable

Because everything else in this comic was foreshadowed and predictable? Your logic is infallible, sir.

I'd bet my laptop that it was megan :)

Yeh, but who'd want to flip one page of several hundred pages every 30 minutes? Who am I kidding, I'll pay top-dollar for a signed 1st ed. copy.

Someone has to build fractals. They're building the coastline of the Mandelbrot Set, starting from zero until they reach .

Although, the trebuches keep pushing back the completion date. At this rate, they'll never finish.

Also, I wonder what significance the tiny rise in pixels to the right of this possibly third character might have?

Is it really rising? Or is it possible that it's just the way the light is refracting through that bit of lettuce?

On the miniature of the sandcastle, what is that line to the far left? It would be offscreen in the macro scale...

Plus, I'm assuming the side of the miniature means the water receded and they're now stranded on this cliff-face thing. ;3

I'd go with the rope idea, but we can't really be sure yet. But when did that ever stop us?

Rope to tie the scaffolding together.

Clearly an analogy to how Megan is the one who is constantly working at keeping their relationship together while Cueball simply makes negative comments about how it must be over.

On a serious note, here's something I love about this comic: Whenever you think it might be over, whenever I think "that's it, that's all there is" a character makes a reappearance and something new begins. It's kind of like life. There's always more to come, always something else to learn, some new way we can improve ourselves and our lives.

It'll be a lame analogy once (if?) the comic ends, but I like it for now anyway.

I'm falling into a coma as I type. Enjoy the newpix that are to come. *bow*

That's the miniature trebuchet from frame #403. They left it there after only one launch that we observed.
