Maybe not, but I'm too busy currently, so I'll have to wait for when I have more time.

This is probably silly, but with the two poles with the thing on top and the ladder perched that way, it kind of reminds me of a TARDIS right now. Well, we already confirmed Time isn't made of strawberries, so that's out.

Not by any 3 points. 3 co-linear points cannot define a plane. Unless you're an infallible Patriarch and say so. Or in wartime, and then it's boring, because anything is possible.

Hum. By the way. This four vertical strokes don't have to be poles, after all.
In fact, there's reason (however small) to contest this assumption: We saw in frame 466 that the horizontally mounted parts do have a significant z dimension (let's call them "boards"). Which would not be a construction as stable as expected (at least, from Megan).

Or at least at brackish waters. The .. ehr.. rich taste of the oceans is not to be consumed lightely. Even Cueball should know.

Perhaps this is a river that flows into the sea. He is tasting the water to see if the tide has turned? (Fresh if the river is flowing towards the sea, and brackish/salty when the tide is coming in?)

Actually, a 2D creature can have a complete digestive tract - it just takes more engineering to keep the two halves coupled - for example, if you have multiple ball-and-socket joints which can be released independently, then having all but one connected at all times maintains integrity...

Frame 175. Questionable whether that counts as "not-dialogue", since it was still orally-produced sound, just non-verbal. "Pffthh *cough*", to be precise.

Added: Of course, we could just modify higgs-boson's claim to narrow it down to something more definitely accurate. First onomatopoeic text, or something like that.

I know what Cueball's doing...
He's trying to prevent the sea level from rising by drinking sea water. Good luck with that!

Why is this topic no longer growing at a rate of 20 or 30 pages a day? Looks like the Real World is winning this battle...

Of course, the sea won't do anything while he's watching, but as soon as he turns his back, the level will rise.

First appear of non-dialogue text, aye? Anyway - Looks like we are not at salty waters.
Or at least at brackish waters. The .. ehr.. rich taste of the oceans is not to be consumed lightely. Even Cueball should know.

You're forgetting the part where Megan got some in her mouth and was coughing and hacking, I don't know what number it was.

Frame 175. Questionable whether that counts as "not-dialogue", since it was still orally-produced sound, just non-verbal. "Pffthh *cough*", to be precise.

The "sip" sound was made by the mouth :P

Don't mind me, I am currently very coma deprived...

Don't bother, I just was wrong. In both points made (double fault...0:15)
- It was not the first not-dialogue text showing up.
- Cueball would taste salty water.

Oh ye Randall. That's love, Megan, isn't it?

FTFY

Besides: the yuck was definitely spoken, but it was a monologue (as Megan left). The pffthh was clearly just the sound of the liquid leaving her mouth (I assume it's a liquid as it's named sea), so both frames contained spoken and unspoken sounds. But Megans was definitely a dialogue, while Cueballs was a monologue.

The less frequent updates are probably partly to blame, too.

This is confirmation that it is coffee, specifically Starbucks Dark Roast, which causes the same response in 4 out of 5 copies of me.

As far as the hats go, I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty well set. Unless my hat, pre-dating Time itself, needs a hat of its own??

Well, one thing we can say for sure, now. Cueball doesn't swallow; he spits.
P.S. I am Randall, but not that Randall.
We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can make it better than it was. Better … stronger … well, maybe not faster.
Well, BlitzGirl is experiencing a bit of a title wave.
