I know Randall doesn't view the forums, but he has to be aware of the discussions that go on in the thread. It appears that he has already mocked the doomsayers and now he's mocking the loopists. What I'm trying to say is... THERE'S A MOLE AMONG US.

Aww. Keep in mind that the commandment of the OTC is "Wait for it" which can be as passive or active as it needs to be. There is no true heresy in skipping pages of the OTT or catching up with the comic at the end of the day. The only true heresy is impatience, is allowing the waiting to become some non-waiting twisted visage of the essence of to "wait". Let us wait in peace and tranquility, in our own times and our own ways. I say that to you and to buffygirl and to all who wait in fear or angst. To wait is to be at peace. Yay, release thy burdens.

This makes perfect sense to me. But then, the mad Past of this thread is still fresh in my memory.
Basically what you're saying is that Randall wants it to seem like it will loop, but Time will not truly loop.
However, it may continue in a manner parallel to the building of the First Sandcastle.

A mere 29 newpixs ago (The Fully Faded Newpix) we waited with breathless anticipation to See What Happens Next.
We then overjoyed to see The Plain Of Walking appear and All rejoiced and relaxed.
Suddenly we are thrust into the same anxiety while we again wait to See What Happens Next.
(Surely Randall {may his name never be taken in vain} wouldn't continue to do this* to the poor huddled masses here, will he?)

I, for one, WOULD LOVE to see the entire events of the beginning of the OTC, only a little bit zoomed out this time.

Notes:
- The white tide may have been there because we skipped back in TIME, to the TIME before C&M came to the beach. Not skipping in location to just follow them.
- All the times Cueball or Megan left the scene ("later", "bye"), we may see not what they did over there.
- We know the second castle was built before the zoom-pan, maybe we'll be able to see it now?

Optimistic me. :-)
It's about time.

Interesting theory. It would allow loopism without some of the weirdness.

But I still believe that Time does not loop.

OTOH, I also predict that Cueball will now dip his toe into the sea (which is big) just to mess with enlighten us further.

Everybody's wondered, How did Randall generate the hashes? I thought about Externalities and the hash everyone was trying to break there, a Skein 1024 1024 hash.

But that's a 128-byte hash (256 hex digits) and the file names are only 32-byte (64 digits). But then I thought, Would it be so un-Randallish to generate a 1024-bit hash and only use 256 bits? So I wrote a script to test the Externalites hash against the Time image folder, taking 64 hex digits at a time for the image name. 192 failures, then this, with the very last 64 digits of the hash.

I don't know how many frames in the future this is, but here's:

Hooray, I have joined the legions of approved posters! My posts are no longer mere annoyances that mess up who gets to be the pope or something!

One True Comic II: The Baginning

Gah! I couldn't help myself:

"Cueball's Got a Brand New Bag"

(to the tune of "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" by James Brown)

Come here Megan,
Cueball's doin' his thing
He ain't too thick...
Hell's he's just a stick, babe
But he might have flags --
'Cause Cueball's got a brand new bag.

Come here Megan,
and dig in the semencoffeecaffeine
He's not too fancy...
But his line is pretty clean
His old scaffold sags --
But Cueball's got a brand new bag.

He's doing the work,
watchin' Time fly.
He's kinda cheap -- yes, you know he cain't buy
Still he's gettin' hungry, for mashed potatoes;
and bacon on a rack; and semencoffee later.

Come here Megan,
Cueball's doin' his thing
He's tired from the trip...
And ready for some feed, babe
The sea makes him gag --
But Cueball's got a brand new bag!

Adventures In Bagsitting
Knight Temporal of the One True Comic {bestowed by BlitzGirl: NP 1315}

We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner, holographic demons and invocations of equations. These are the tools we employ, and we know many things.
