Not the same hillside Cueball walked down earlier, I notice.

Yup, I cant wait to see SBN's updated map after this little adventure... wait it was SBN who made the map right?
Spoiler:
...I might be going crazy...

taixzo wrote:They are going toward the river, now. So that means that when Cueball found the campsite, he was walking away from the river.

No he was going down hill so he might have been traveling parallel to the river and now they are traveling a little more perpendicular.

ETA: Looking at the newpix again he wasn't traveling down hill, but he was traveling parallel to the river.

The leaves are palmate-ish. Pot plant, maybe? Or lupine? Maybe it's the Lupine Express. (Anyone?)

Tried uploading some images for comparison, but I'm not succeeding. :x

Re. Lego vs. Legos - One of the reasons I've always found "Legos" weird and wrong (other than being British and therefore used to "Lego") is because it's this weird thing Americans have done with just this ONE brand. Like you don't see anyone referring to other similar products in the same way, nobody ever talks about "Knexes" or "Meccanos" or calls pieces of model train track "Hornbys"...

So.. is that what has been happening to my brains? Wait a minute, I don't even look like the Megball! Quick - Chapter 2 - I'm on the edge of my seat!

@Vytron - comic in your thread about your thread about a comic - Awesome!

@mscha - That second link was quite entertaining and informative! Thanks! I'd seen the England/GB one before and liked it too. If I ever have time after having my condiments, I'll go check out some more of them.

Maybe to distinguish them from Duplos? Because you can't say, 'pick up your bricks, and your bigger bricks,' but you can say, 'pick up your Legos and Duplos.' I have a strange urge to go to the Lego store and start a discussion though. (I'll probably resist.)

I have had my evening ketchup. Yum. Thanks to all of you (and you know who you are!) I now have an insatiable desire to go out and buy a Lego kit and spend the rest of the evening playing with legos.

Also, I was very glad to see edfel return and rightly claim honors as the creator of the TimeMap and well as accepting the title of Holy Cartographer. But that's not really official, it is only what I have called him. Is there some process by which we may officialize that title for good edfel? I think his efforts show that he is well deserving of it.

It seems to be currently being used as a generic term for small likable creature, rather than it's mammal|dinosaur origins...

I also began an attempt at a Lewis Carroll-esque children's-style nonsense poem about this peculiar creature but gave up when I realised I'm totally useless at poetry.

These are looking and sounding suspiciously like the Winslow.

I just want to put in one more little plug for this molpy candidate...

Because, awwwww, lookit that little guy.

My daughter and I came across these amazing creatures in a book last night, and we had a great time planning a new kids' show called My Little Star-Nosed Mole, featuring adorable blind underground-dwelling mammals called Twilight Sparkles and Fluffy Rainbow who use their 22 fleshy nose-fingers to sniff out and consume cupcakes within a quarter of a second. I hope she slept OK.

You're going to have to work harder than that if you want to out-cute the pink fairy armadillo:

Yes, there is. Or rather, there are several, but one in particular comes to mind.

First somebody has to nominate him for that title, or call him by that title. It could even be he himself (or her herself), but in this case, that requirement has already been met.

Next... well, there is no next. It is done. edfel is the Holy Cartographer. Now, arise and Wait For It. :)

(Of course, we still don't know which Church, if any, he or she wishes to affiliate with.)
