We still have to move 139 pixels to the right and 56 up to have the same viewpoint as t** **d.
So far, every newnewpix in the pan has a shift of either 4 to the right and 1 up, or 3 to the right and 2 up. So, (139+56)/5 = 39 more newnewpix to go – 6½ dix – and then things will get (even more) interesting. Will we keep panning to new territory? Will we stop panning and wait for something to happen?

I think that pretty much proves (someone's, don't remember, sorry) theory that we're looking at a prequel to t** **d.
Yes, and one that still has Time to go. The Beanies were going down, and are not rushing back up, so the sea (although it can do whatever it wants) is not rushing up right at the moment. So, the question is, will this prequel continue past the voldeframe location?

German "half x" means "halfway to x" (as in (x-1):30), and makes perfectim semantic sense. However, non-German "half one" meaning "half past one" is nonsensical, which means it should be adopted here. :)

We'll say "quarter 'till" or "quarter after" in the US, and we'll say "half past (x)" or "x thirty", marking from the hour half an ong ago.

Dutch uses a combination of those German and English rules.
We say "half twee" for 1:30, "kwart voor twee" for 1:45, kwart over twee for 2:15. But it gets more complicated: 1:40 is "tien over half twee". And that is really the common way to say it.

ETA: and now it's tien voor half drie, way past coma time. Molpy down.

ten-minutes-after-half-an-hour-before-o-clock sounds perfectly logical to me  Genuinely interesting though that the Dutch use half-hour reference points.

A little French influence? Who else (besides Lincoln, perhaps) would say "four-tweny-thirteen" for 93? Those French - they have a different word for everything!

- Fixed Monty Haul Problem's Goat[s] usage
- Put in a fix to ensure you get Château d'If if you have the Unreachable? Badge (which has the side effect of giving you Château d'If back when you Molpy down, which is okay I guess)
- I had put in one too many >0 for temp boost countdowns when I fixed it before, so people with negative were still stuck negative.
- Temporal Duplication warns that it's about to run out even if the countdown is not an integer
- Infinite block production prevented from mustarding chip storage: and if you have infinite blocks it doesn't bother making "more"
- TF counts toggle button always visible in Layout mode
- In NP 2101

Not sure if it is still true, but there used to be a radio station in Seattle that always referred to 7:37 as Boeing time.

Not 7:17, but 7:27. But I think they only did it at 7:37. I've been gone from Seattle nearly as long as I lived there. It'll always be home though.

And good job getting the n-1 assignments done, keep at at.

I think that's one of the permanent filters on the xkcd forums. Normally it would have applied directly to Blitzgirl's post, but the OTT is semi-immune from forum filters since a day or so into the madness, so they only show up in quotes and previews now. There's a few others, like Oh me yarm.

Yep, that's one of the permanent ones. Quote this list and despair:

I'm disappointed that the filters from Othercomic 1288 have disappeared. I liked spaaace.
ETA: It seems "tricks" no longer filters to "trickses." That was a good one!

That kind of thing is rather antitreeish as it makes reading an unmolpish and deraptored experience.
ETA why did it filter SexyTalon's name to SecondTalon in your post but not in mine?????

I'm sure there are more of these permanent filters that I haven't encountered. But since the OTT is the only part of the fora I frequent, apart from some Othercomic Otherthreads, I'm unlikely to learn of them.

"SecondTalon" is the name that gets filtered into "SexyTalon", not the other way around.

In the OTT, the filtering happens only when quoted. The original is left alone. (usually)

It did arguably lead to some OTTish slang ("needle-pulled thing") way back when.

Oh... and othercomic.
