It was an amusing m*stard.

Forgot to mention, I went for a nopix-long bike ride yesterdip. I saw a foxtor! Haven't seen a foxtor while riding before. It was pretty close too before it ran away. Also a rabmolp. And the ubiquitous roomolps. But one particularly interesting moment was when I was riding downhill with a fence on either side, and I saw a roomolp on the other side of one fence, hopping away parallel to the fence and gaining speed... Sure enough, it soon jumped the fence, crossed a few metres in front of me, and then jumped the other fence :D

For Laura.

mrob27: in blindposter.user.js:
  • at blindposter.convert(blindposter);: not only the argument isn't needed, it may confuse the reader in that context.
  • at inners = document.getElementsByClassName('post bg1');, inners = document.getElementsByClassName('post bg2');: is bg1/bg2 really necessary?

Any ideas on how to write icecookie in Latin?

I don't know from where Google got the idea I'd hotdog something like Doodle Kingdom. Or that I'd hotdog something.
Hm, there's this banner for Disney's new movie Blank. Looks familiar.

Also, I've just noticed for most of you, my avatar is looking at the post itself.

Chronogram from Mrob27 (NP1275 → NP1756)

Postby mrob27 » Tue Feb 18, 2014 6:27 am UTC

Chronogram from Mrob27
Origin: NP1275; Destination: NP1756

Continuing my journey through the Newpages of the E*docalypse. There have been proposals to bargain with the GLR for more Time. (Perhaps if we submit questions to What-If? How about a Kickstarter for Time II?). There is still much anger, and a lot more crying, and every Newpage or two a regular OTTer discovers what's happened. It's heartbreaking, and emotionally draining, to witness their reactions. I've taken breaks, and finding some happier things :) to help me through it...

I remember hearing a Randall Munroe audio interview (radio show or podcast?) early last fall, in which he talks about several things, including the OTC and the existence of the OTT. So I looked around a bit, and found the .NET rocks show that was announced back on NP1629 — but that's not the one I remember.
I think there was another GLR interview, after Time but before November. Am I hallucinating? (Well, probably yes, but I mean specifically about an earlier post-Time audio GLR interview).
While researching this I also found the Øredev show from 2013-11-07, which is ch*rping good fun to watch but does not mention OTC. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been mentioned here.

Now, once again,
Image

I've been sorta ignoring the OtherComics lately, but when I stumbled across that Øredev interview I started playing with unixkcd and saw the latest few. Wow!, here's one I can OTTify whilst learning how to animate GIFs!

(spoiler-free for NP1275 or later)

There are supposed to be four items per row; if it doesn't display well for you here, I've created a stand-alone version on my website. The frequencies are accurate where I had a decent chance of actually figuring it out, and the rest are wild guesses.

There are a ch*rpload more items in the original, but I decided 20 GIFs was enough to upload in one post without going totally mad. If anyone has ideas for more, I now have a general-purpose xkcd 1331 panel generator  and can make more quite easily, so just let me know.

  — mrob27 Image

Yeah, I decided 20 was enough, and I then uploaded 25! :P

Edit: Brilliant idea for panel F3, @Eternal Density. Thanks. . . . where's that ice cream?
Edit2: Change wording of F2, in an attempt to be more clear what I mean; also replace the 3 "never" images with static GIFs. All the old ones are still in this spoiler.

I'm back from my field trip, and besides all the antmolpies and flutterbeebabies, I saw quite a few kangamolpies. I'll ketchup whenever the OutsideH leaves me some time for Time. Hope to see all y'all soon in the future present!

Btw, I strongly discourage BlitzGirl from travelling in Australia. The natives here love to pun on their store signs. This is one of the more elaborate examples (spoilered for decree of NP1735):
