I won't bother doing the graphic, but here's another possible white spot label:

VESTA

Shouldn't the last word be "HERE" if the spot is on Vesta? (Great reference, though.)

The spot's on Ceres.

I did consider "ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS EXCEPT CERES, ATTEMPT NO LANDINGS HERE" (and, more playfully, "ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS EXCEPT PHAËTON, ATTEMPT NO LANDINGS HERE"), but decided in the end that it made more sense for the forbidden planetoid to be one other than the one the message is on.

Of course you did, and well done. Next time, I'll wear reading glasses and try to do a better job of keeping up with the story.

Super Bowl (1480)
my_super_bowl.png
...or maybe studying. Yeah, I should probably do that.
(I'm posting this now, and I made it into an image just now, but I wrote it before the Super Bowl.)

Super Bowl (1480) + end of this post + this comment (for the title text)
superb_owl.png
My hobby: Pretending to miss the sarcasm when people show off their lack of interest in football by talking about the "Superb Owl" and acting excited to find someone else who's interested, then acting confused when they try to clarify. (I'd probably be more interested if it actually were about birdwatching, even though I'm not that into birdwatching. Same with archaeology.)

Most recent comic (1483, Quotative Like)
Spoiler:
Like, totally quotative like: (A text-only xkcdsw.)
So, she was like, "I found this article on the linguistics of the 'quotative like'", and then he was like, "Like when you're like, 'she was like'?", and then she was all like, "Yeah."
Then she was all, "It features a quote from linguist, Patricia Cukor-Avila; she was all like 'Eventually all the people who hate this kind of thing are going to be dead, and the ones who use it are going to be in control.'"
And then he was like, "Wow. Turns out linguists are pretty hardcore", and she was all, "I think she means dead from old age", and then he was like "I'm gonna start using 'like' more, like, just in case."

Title text: And then the title text was all, "And God was like, 'Let there be light'... and there was light!"
Arbitrary milestone/random coincidence: This is my 100th post in this thread, and my 200th post in the General forum.

Out of these 4, we don't understand gravity very well. This is because it is explained by the relatively normal General Relativity as opposed to the mindfuck that is Quantum Mechanics.

Time for some color correction abuse.

Skin Color
Dress Uncolor.png
Setting the highlight and shadow to the lightest and darkest colors in each image, respectively.

Fluorescent Dress
Dress White.png
Assuming she didn't paint her skin: highlight is set to skin, and shadow is set to outline. Hooray clipping.

Exaggerated Color
Dress Reversal.png
Setting the highlight and shadow to the lightest and darkest colors in the *opposite* image.

How not to do color correction
Dress Corruption.png
Setting the highlight and shadow to the lightest and darkest *material* of the opposite image, using the material color of the current image.

Average Dress Color
Dress Average.png
Averaging the two images, and then correcting with highlight=skin, shadow=outline.
