That's unfortunate that they only have a few test centers in your state. In NC, any oil change place can do the annual inspection. But it's about $30 for us.

Fleeting Thought: I come up with some weird freakin' ideas in the morning. All this week I've had a little trouble waking up to my alarm clock (i.e., turning it off without waking up, then waking up really late). Twice I've come up with an "explanation" while still mostly asleep. This morning I concluded that one of the background programs I was running on my alarm clock was set to supress error messages, and the alarm function was getting detected as an error message. Eariler in the week, I was pretty sure that I didn't have the right font installed for the time display, so the alarm function couldn't process the time because it couldn't read it from the display.

When my alarm clock was acting weird, I always said that it is possesed by satan.

Not like I am religious or anything, but having a satan possesed clock would be kind of awesome if it didnt try to kill you.

I could probably get our overseas offices to respond faster to my requests if I created a bunch of fake email addresses for all of our departments and cc'd them on each email, so it looked like twenty-plus people were waiting for them to provide the information/documents.

Not to interrupt, but hitting golf balls off of buildings just so happens to be one of my favorite pastimes, too.

Facists!* My father was killed by a golfball hit from a rooftop!**

*I love improper word choices
**Not really. He was killed because he was laughing his ass off at some guy who got hit by a golfball from a rooftop to avoid the schoolbus full of blind children and nuns. To this day that intersection still smells like burned habits.

Fleeting thought: I was having a conversation with someone, and in passing they mentioned paper-boys. Instead of thinking about boys delivering paper, I briefly thought they meant boys made out of paper. Then I got a mental image of a huge army of origami children made out of newspaper. How awesome would that be?

Thanks. When I thought of it, I was worried that I'd heard it somewhere and inadvertently stolen it, but Google says otherwise.

I'm sorely tempted to advertently steal it, but if it's as original as Google claims I'd hate to deprive you of exclusivity on it.

Do I stay up all night to watch the Australian Grand Prix and ruin tomorrow night's sleep, or go to bed and watch the rerun tomorrow without any sense of anticipation? Decisions, decisions.

This is taking forever. I sent my console in on the 4th. It got to Texas on the 7th, after a trip to Kansas then back here, for whatever reason. After it got there, they decided to throw it away without checking to make sure there were replacement systems. My repair status has been, "User has no registered device," for a week.

Thanks Microsoft.

I didn't play my 360 for months after I got it (so much left to play on the PS2 at the time). I was afraid once I stated playing that I would get the RRoD like many other people. So far so good, but I don't play it nearly as much as I would like.

I've had mine for two years now and had no problems at all apart from my friends burning the Guitar Hero meters into my plasma screen, bastards. It seems to have gotten better though.

I just looked down and realized that it was "tomorrow" meaning its past midnight. We all know tomorrow never comes because, by the time tomorrow comes, it's already today.

It's not "tomorrow" until the sun comes up or you go to bed (whichever comes first).

I just... woah, I'm confused...
I just woke up ten minutes ago, glanced at my watch and figured it was 3pm-ish (which is when I've woken up the last couple of days). Then just now, my 9am alarm sounded. I'm scared.
