Most of my travels have been within Europe, which is of course contained within this quadrilateral.
This is a placeholder until I think of something more creative to put here.

no, I did, I was going to do another list about the farthest in various direction I'd been since going to college, there was going to be be a joke about my complete lack of any sense of direction whatsoever.

Then when i removed it, I left the east/west mixup and the 'over-all' at the top

High: Approx. 11500 Ft on a mountain. Highest mountain in the area of a ski resort (Can't remember the name, despite taking a photo while up there).

P.s: If you went the exact opposite side of the world, you would achieve the record for each. Unless we're talking position relative to north/south pole.

However, the northern extreme of France (e.g. Calais) is further north than Cornwall, and the eastern extreme of France (Alsace-Lorraine area) is just a tad to the east of the western edge of Norwegian coastline. So, if we assume that all sleepygamer has done is travel across the Eurotunnel into France, head directly northwards to Belgium area after and been all the way to Land's End, Cornwall then one is true. However, this is completely dependent on sleepygamer not going to the eastern border of France with Germany to beat her theoretical trip to the beaches of western Norwegian fjords, due to such a location fulfilling the "France is further south than Cornwall" line.

It really depends on how you think of "east/west" etc.

In terms of latitude and longitude:
West: Victoria, BC
East: Somewhere eastish in New Zealand. Gisborne?
South: New Zealand again, somewhere in Southland probably
North: Jacksdale, Nottinghamshire, UK, or if walking around the airport counts as "going" somewhere, Calargy, Alberta

In terms of distance from New Zealand, my home country:
West: UK
East: UK
North: UK
South: UK

I mean, it's practically the bloody antipodes. The only way to improve that would be to visit Spain, which is actually opposite New Zealand.

From the U of K:

North: Tromso, Norway.
South: Melbourne(ish), Aussieland.
East: Sydney, Aussieland (I think it's a tad further east than Melbourne.)
West: San Francisco. California.

Without visiting some godforsaken island in the middle of the pacific, I don't think I could do much better on many of those. (Yes, New Zealand is godforsaken)

All of the above. But mainly, the U of K is the vowel, U, belonging to the consonant, K. Letters have rights too, you know!

Hmmm... not sure how to reckon this. I was born in Colombia, but I haven’t been south of the equator since moving to Massachusetts.
From MA( in terms of travel roughly directly in each direction, not necessarily the extreme directional value):
North to Quebec
West to L.A.( Hollywood!)
South to the Bahamas barely remembered, Orlando FL more recently.
East to Switzerland and Germany, too lazy to check the exact coordinates, not sure in which I was further.
