I wouldn't mind a bit if this storyline went on indefinitely. I love xkcd, but I've felt that it's been languishing in lack-of-lols for months. Suddenly I'm really interested again. We all love Black Hat Man and his antics, and his girlfriend, combined with all the celebrities that are brought into play. I'm all for this comic morphing into the "further adventures of BHM & friends", with an occasional non-story comic interrupting (if it's funny).

Why's this not on the Radio shack wiki page? there's a popular culture section.

I notice it is on the Wiki for 'Pleading the Fifth'

I was discussing something like this [the auto-troll shuffle] just last night - A friend of mine once moved someone's Lotus Elise to the other side of the carpark. We then considered gathering a load of motorbikes, and putting them sideways in one space. Then replacing one with an identical bike, except their key won't work...

EDIT
Wiki updated. Now on the Radioshack page 8)

Am I the only person who thinks the last panel is possibly a 99 Red Balloons reference? (Well, I know Cory is also an option, but my brain seems to be stuck in the 80s.)

Murder, sometimes - never in Massachusetts, unless the victim's some sort of fed.

Manslaughter...capital punishment for manslaughter?! Do even the Singaporeans do that?

I thought that the joke with the balloon was just that it was something significant to such a pathetic mode of transport as a blimp.

there was this scottish guy in the US who was on death row for like 25 years after neglecting a child he was meant to be babysitting- by leaving the house for a few minutes, and then the house burnt down while he was out;

eventually he was aquitted but thats not the point.

In his own blimp, unlike any blimp this world has ever seen, and its in pursuit of Ron Pauls blimp.

epic blimp battle to come?

No...

1) We don't know if it's him (and it probably isn't, or else the rest of the storyline wouldn't be as interesting or make as much sense)
2) It's a balloon, not a blimp

EDIT: When BHG is defending his stealing of the Nuclear Submarine... he says that he pleads the fifth, not allowing troops to live in his house durring peactime. Might my inference be correct, then, in stating that he stole a nuclear submarine because a person (possibly Russian spy) was quartering himself in BHG's appartment, therefore leading him to steal the sub in revenge?
That makes me confused, but it sorta makes sense at the same time. Atleast to me :P

What I'm thinking is:

Does he make a worse car, or a better car?
If better, is it to eventually get him apprehended for the incident?
And when he reassembles it, does he do it in the double parked space, or in just one space?

And am I really the only one to immediately think of this comic at the mention of a balloon?

Nope. You are not the only one. However, I thought this comic fit it, on second thought.

Curiously, they're right next to each other.

I love how the Ronpaul has become an internet character on the same level as Doctorow and BHG. This guy was attempting to become leader of the free world. That's like...well, that's like BHG becoming Secretary of the Internet.

Is it just me, or does this comic contain too many indirect references to Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long blog to be pure coincidence (i.e. sheeple, followed almost directly by 'death ray'), while each on its own would not be a reference to it, together, it (at least for me) was hard to miss.

I just got done with an American history test and the bonus question was this "What is the third amendment to the constitution in the bill of rights." I had to try so hard not to LOL. Thank You Randal, there was no way I could get that question wrong with your help.

I was expecting BHG to say that he made the nuclear sub his home, and thus he would remove the troops from it by force, if necessary.

I think that's a stretch. I think the lyrics "...amazing how sheep'll show up to the slaughter" Or Sheep will. If they mentioned a freeze ray I think you'd have a case.
